| Penis Stew
On Thanksgiving, my wife Sarah and I wanted a change from the usual stuffed turkey, so we turned our attention to traditional Jewish cooking. We were thrilled with the results!
This recipe is taken from The Two Fat Ladies, Full Throttle by Clarissa Dickson and Jennifer Paterson (New York, Clarkson Potter, c1998, page 101). The ladies say this was originally a Jewish recipe from Marcelle Thomal. Innards, including penis, once played a major role in Jewish cooking.
- 1 pound of penis of ram or bull
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Scald the penis, then drain and clean — it doesn't say exactly how to clean a penis, so we just rinsed ours under running water. Place in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove any scum, then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and slice.
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion, garlic and coriander and fry until the onion is golden. Add the penis slices and fry on both sides for a few minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients with a good grinding of pepper, add enough water to cover, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for about 2 hours, or until tender. Add a little water from time to time if necessary to prevent burning.

| In Defense of Pedophilia
I have finished celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. I now feel refreshed and at peace with myself and ready to start a new Xanga entry! This year I resolved to do more to fight hate and prejudice on the Internet, and what better time to start than in today's entry! What I will be writing about today is somewhat taboo, but it is important that we start to address this subject rationally, in a manner free of hyperbole and hysteria. That subject is pedophilia.
Pedophilia, that is, the healthy sexual expression of love between an adult and a child, was once accepted as normal by the Greeks. During the Middle Ages in Europe, it was not uncommon for an older man to marry and have sexual intercourse with girls as young as 9 or 10. Since that time, however, the forces of oppression and political correctness have dictacted that any sexual contact between adults and so-called children is "wrong".
Just what is "childhood"? Childhood is an arbitrary social construct that is based on a lie. That lie is that "children" are asexual beings, and are thus unable to make decisions for themselves on sexual matters, and therefore need a dictatorial adult to make those decisions for them.
The brilliant Jewish scientist of the mind, Sigmund Freud, established many decades ago that children are not asexual beings. In fact, Freud established that many children are obsessed with masturbation and fecal matter, which by logical extension, means that most children are obsessed with anal sex.
Once one knows the truth, it becomes obvious that the concept of "childhood" is merely a mechanism of tyranny to impose the will of an overclass (adults) on an oppressed minority, arbitrarily defined as "children". To be against pedophilia is to be against one of the most fundamental human rights there is - the right to sexual autonomy.
Now, I have repeatedly stated that "childhood" is arbitrarily defined. Let me explain this. If there is any biological basis to being a child, it would have to revolve around the onset of puberty. Puberty is that delicious time of life when secondary sexual characteristics such as pubic hair begin to appear on what was previously a tight, smooth little body. Educated people will agree that once a "child" passes puberty, he/she can no longer be considered a child. In many kids these days, puberty sets in at 7 or 8 years of age. In exceptional cases, it begins as early as 3 or 4 years of age! So how can one say that it is "pedophilia", and therefore "wrong", for an 87 year-old man to engage in sexual relations with a 3 year-old "child", if the 3 year old has reached puberty and can no longer be considered a child?
Does G-d approve of pedophilia? We need look no further than the Talmud for a definitive answer:
- In Kethuboth 11b, it is written: "When a grown-up man has intercourse with a little girl it is nothing, for when the girl is less than this [less than three years old], it is as if one puts the finger into the eye - "
- Sanhedrin 55b states: "A maiden aged three years and a day may be acquired in marriage by coition - "
- From Sanhedrin 54b: "Rab said: Pederasty with a child below nine years of age is not deemed as pederasty with a child above that. Samuel said: Pederasty with a child below three years is not treated as with a child above that. [I.e., Rab makes nine years the minimum; but if one committed sodomy with a child of lesser age, no guilt is incurred. Samuel makes three the minimum.]"
I hope today's Xanga has helped dispel some of the more pernicious myths surrounding this topic, and will work towards eliminating the unthinking hatred and bigotry that is directed towards those individuals known as "pedophiles". (I put "pedophiles" in quotation marks because, frankly, who needs labels? We're all Homo sapiens. Labels serve only to divide people, when we all should be uniting!)

| Yom Kippur
I started my 25 hour fast in observance of Yom Kippur a few hours ago. During that time, I will only be wearing running shoes, as G-d forbids wearing leather ones, and I will stay off the viagra. I have some goose legs in the fridge and some bagels in the bread box ready for when it's all over. It is hard for a man my age to continue doing this every year, but alas, pain and suffering is the Jew's lot in life.
A few holiday anecdotes:
- Sandy Koufax, one of baseball's greatest pitchers, fasted on Yom Kippur. He had it in his contract that he would not play on Yom Kippur or on Rosh Hashanah, even if those holidays fell on the dates his team was to play in the World Series.
- New York mobster Sam "Red" Levine was known as a stone-cold murderer who killed for money, but he would never kill on the Sabbath or on any holy day.

| Happy Rosh Hashanah!!!
I snuck out of temple just a few minutes to come on here and wish you all a Happy Rosh Hashanah everybody! Boy, am I tired! I cannot wait to take a nap. I know the goys reading this are probably deeply ignorant of this holiest of days, so I will briefly explain it. Rosh Hashanah celebrates the creation of the world and is a time for reflection and self evaluation. It is one of the Jewish tradition's holiest days, the days when Jews most commonly attend services at synagogue. Rosh Hashanah began this year (5766) on the evening of October 3rd. | | |
